[Descole accidentally fell asleep on a couch in the lobby. He was going to sleep in a room, but somehow his plans changed.]

[He didn't mean too, and he doesn't really want to be disturbed. In his half asleep state, he knows that he will be anyway. He hopes it's someone he can tolerate.]

[OOC: so I'm at an x-mas party and I really don't want to be here. Please, someone entertain me.]

Like I said, meats and bread or pasta are all I can manage. And even those are a push, sometimes.

[Descole shuddered.]

Even thinking about such heavy foods makes me ill. I don't think I've had any carnivorous food in...in years.

I know it's not good for my system, but eh, fruits and vegetables are all I can manage.

I'm the same with fruit and vegetables, double. My diet's hardly ideal either, when I even feel like eating.

I know how that is. The person I'm living with right now, constantly scolds me for not eating enough.

But you can't blame me if I'm not hungry. If I try to force myself when I'm not, I get sick.

Exactly! Sometimes it's just so much hassle to remember, and then go about making a meal, too. I mean, you have normal people, who treat meals as some sort of twice-daily thing at least, and then I'm sitting there, proud of myself if I manage so much as three meals a week.

I don't even make meals either. If they do get made it's by Bradley and he and Simon eat them.

Well once Bradley made me cinnamon apples in attempt to get me to eat. I did eat it, so that's good. But still...

Cinnamon apples?

[She shudders.]

Ugh, I don't think that's something I could ever eat. But then, even if I ever managed to normalise the amount and timing of my meals, I don't really think I could help the content at all...

Mmm... it must be nice to have someone to make you food. I mean, so long as there's not too much pushing about eating when you're not up to it, at least it gives you the option of eating something when you're hungry but can't bring yourself to make something.

Yes, Bradley said you soak apples in a white wine, with cinnamon and...and something else, I dunno.

Well, it seems nice, but truthfully, I feel more inadequate and inept than anything. It's like, I can make my own damn food when I feel like it! Ya know?

Mm... well, I guess it's easier if you're eating fruit and vegetables, they're not hard to do something with. When I'm at my worst I can just about manage to butter the bread or eat sandwich meat straight from the packet. It's hardly very civilised, you know?

I wish I could do that. I see Bradley doing that when he comes back from football. Soccor. Whatever you call it. Anyway, he and Simon eat a lot of meat. So they make a lot of meat foods. My butler eats with them, but he's a vegetarian, so he tries to make me food. Eh.

Well... I guess it's fine for something like that, but when your whole diet ends up as bread and sandwich meat for weeks on end, that's not so good.

You must be missing a lot of vitamins. Well, look who's talking.

Let's agree, we both have poor diets.

Ha, yes. I suppose there's always vitamins and such, but... it's too much effort, you know?

[He nods in agreement, even though he's been prescribed as arsenal of pills to take daily. Oh yeah, he forgot about those. Discontinuing abruptly could cause problems as well.]

Hm, I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm kind of hoping I get back soon...

Hmm? It's okay, I don't find it rude at all. I can understand wanting to leave, even if I don't myself.

And, well, you have people to go back to, right? So it makes sense for you.

[Nods and shrugs.]

Do I really want to go back? Hm, I dunno...

Well... I could understand it. If I had someone to go back to... if I had anything to go back to besides hiding from Layton then I guess I might want to. Though even then... maybe I wouldn't.

[He shrugs again.]

I never know where I am in my own opinions so I can't tell you if I do or not. Truthfully, I have doctor prescribed pills I have to take that might effect me negatively while I'm not taking them.

[Maybe that's why he fell asleep on the couch.]

Mmph... I guess pills or something would probably help me, but it'd mean having to go see a doctor in the first place, you know?

I *hate* doctors, so yes, I know. I had to be dragged...

Mmm... well, I don't have anyone to drag me, you know? I don't think there's anyone besides Layton and Clive Dove who even know I'm alive any more, back home.

Clive Dove? You were friends with Clive?

Well... not friends, but the professor had... stopped visiting him, and he had nobody else. After what Layton did to myself, I went to visit him on occasion.

Well that's a good deal I guess. At least you have some one to talk too.

Mmm... sometimes it just... makes me feel worse, though, thinking that I ought to see him but that I can't handle company.

[Descole shakes his head.]

No one's making you, and itsme for your own healing. Who cares.

[He smiles genuinely at her.]

Mmm... I just feel like... sometimes if I don't go for a while, it feels like I'm as bad as Layton, you know? I know that's stupid, but...

That's old fashioned guilt. No need to feel it. Your psyche just feels like you do.

I guess... knowing that doesn't stop it happening though, you know?
