[Layton was sure that when he went to bed the other day he was definately male. To wake and found himself a woman was shocking.
He spent a moment looking down at his new assessts before wandering into the corridor]

You are very definitely Claire, I would never forget-

...Oh, it's this bodyswapping thing. So, who are you underneath there?

...I'm a little loathe to admit it, but I'm also Hershel Layton.

Ah, then we are familiar with one another. I am the one who... usually wears a monocle, I suppose would be the briefest way to sum it up.

[Resists the urge to hiss.]

The Dressingroom was merciful in that I am still male. Though I feel sorry for you, having to swap with someone who... meant so much to us, as Laytons.

Your... partner? You mean to say that you're dating another?

[He doesn't expect that from the general Laytons.]

It appears that I'm not the only one with those... preferences then. But it really isn't my place to pry.

Hmm, perhaps.

By any chance, you haven't found any methods to fix this situation at all, have you?

Perhaps we can find out together then, if you don't mind the company of a feline.

Of course not. The figure of Claire... does awaken many memories that I'd prefer not to retread, but I do not mind spending time with you, Double.

My time with Claire was pleasant and her death was... painful. As it was for all of us.
