[It's been a rough few weeks for Clive. The condition of his bail was that he stayed under Layton's watch at all times and... well... Layton sort of vanished. Just straight up disappeared. Then he'd got word that the same thing had happened to Luke. This has left him panicked, both at the loss of them and the prospect of going back to prison.
He really doesn't want to go back to prison.
So, against all better judgement, he had ran. The Dressingroom, however, had been kind enough to grant him access. Clive skids to a halt, having previously been outside and now apparently in a corridor.]
What... is this?
[OOC: I know the last thing we need here is another Clive, but I've been wanting to introduce this one for a while and dammit he's my only one. XD Comes from the same universe as
layton109 and is in good time for the bodyswap plot. :D]

C-claire...?
[To top off all of the weirdness that's happened today, apparently Claire is back from the dead. Or he's hallucinating. He's not ruling out that possibility just yet.]
Weren't you... well, didn't the effects of the time machine wear off...?
no subject
aparentaly it can do that.
[is longing for his top hat now XD ans is feeling naked=

[Okay, so either Claire has come back from the dead, found out about him and the Professor and decided as some sort of bizarre punishment to say that she is Layton or... he's just out of it. The latter sounds more likely.]
Look, I'm sort of messed up right now and having you back from the dead saying you're Layton isn't at all helping. If you're here to take me back to the police then I'm not going to fight with you.

[He thinks for a moment]
Clive what is going on in your time?

And my bail was on the condition that I kept under Layton's watch, so...

as for why I said it like that, there are many clives here..

[Looks away awkwardly.]

Excuse me if I'm a little hesitant to believe you, a lot has happened today. Would you... be all that offended if I asked you some questions that, well, only the two of us know the answr to?

[She certainly sounds as reasonable as Layton.]
Okay, so on the first day I travelled back with you, what had happened to my belongings from before I'd been arrested?

Actually, I doubt it would be classed as hell if I was looking at myself.
no subject
...I'm sure that my Layton would, too.
no subject
...I mean... well, how are you even here?
no subject
Quite. Don't let him hear, though, he's rather convinced that it's the other way around.
Interdimensional nexus that pulls people in from different worlds and times, no way home, etcetera etcetera.

...although, I suppose Bill Hawks never tortured us, so there's that.

Being actually physically tortured is rather worse, I have to say.
