[Descole is curled up on a sofa in the lobby at the moment, staring across at the door labelled "Descole (Female)". She'd looked in long enough that she thinks she knows what it is, but... she doesn't particularly want to actually head on through.

With all the other doors around she's rather hoping that if they have to leave, she'll be able to go somewhere other than her own world. She hadn't wanted to try without asking the owner of another door, though, so at the moment she's not certain whether she'd even be able to enter one of the others.

...ugh.

[Monocle appears to have wandered down the corridor, admiring the text on her door.]

What a fortunate opportunity for your freedom this could be, my dear.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not? You'd have your escape.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Then why not go to someone else's world while you have the chance?

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Then why don't you ask? I'm sure that you have plenty of friends here.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You do seems to spend a lot of time waiting around for people. No wonder you're not running for Prime Minister.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
And you'd be rather... ill-suited to it.

[Places a hand on the door handle.]

But that isn't the topic on the table right now.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Opening the door, what does it look like?

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
The door does not, technically, belong to you. It may lead to your world, but for all intents and purposes it still belongs to the dressingroom.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
But I'm rather fascinated by the prospect of your Layton.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Think about it logically, Descole. I go through that door and I will no longer be bothering you. Therefore you can stay here and not have to worry about either your Layton or myself.

Farewell!

[Opens the door and heads through it.]

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yeah, well you're only slightly more manly than the usual Descoles are, so Monocle doesn't have much trouble getting you off him.]

What a charming place.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Pins her to the wall to shut her.]

Get out yourself. You never know when he might show up, after all.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[He's not sure if he should feel as if he's achieved something or like a horrible person. A bit of both, maybe.]

There's nothing stopping you from going back.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I can easily walk out of your home.

[Side-glances at the front door.]

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
No. You do not command me.

[Let's go of her and makes for the front door.]

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-14 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Descole, I can handle him better than you can.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
You're hysterical. You should go back to the Dressingroom.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I was trying to when you stopped me, my dear lady.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Very well. I wouldn't want to deny such a genuine request.

[Walks back over to the door to the DR. Plans to meet the charming Layton of this dimension temporarily foiled.]

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[Stands with one foot through the door.]

Are you coming?

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I would miss having the pleasure of keeping your company.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Then I will miss you if you choose to stay here.

[identity profile] monocle-layton.livejournal.com 2012-02-15 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
By all means.

[Walks out, closing the door behind him.]
