[The Black Raven wanders the DR.

Crow hasn't seen any of the others around. It's something he's not sure how he feels about, honestly, because while the rest of them help to make up the Black Raven... he isn't sure where he stands with them, at this point.

With none of them here, he doesn't think it'll exactly be a secret who's beneath the costume, at least to the people who already know the Raven's secret. It doesn't matter that people will know who he is though - the Black Raven is safety in numbers, and even without those numbers actually present he feels more secure like this.

So he wanders, and he learns his way around the place, and at times he stops to stare at people from a ways away from them.]

[Of course, as the Black Raven is staring around, Descole is watching from up on a skylight, platform looking down at him. How interesting, the Black Raven is here. It's bound to be one of those brats from Misthallery, he's thinking. Well, he's got no grudge against him. He wonders if he'll ever notice him, or he'll have to jump down and scare him. That'd be funny.]

[Crow remains in place a while, before his head raises and he stares up at Descole.]

...

[He stays silent, but cocks his head expectantly, waiting to see what the other will do now that he's definitely been seen.]

[Descole smirks and jumps down in front of him. His skinny limbs not in his usual suit and cape, but in more casual clothes. He cocks his head to the side.]

What are you plotting?

[He takes a step back, looking Descole up and down before he answers.]

Not plotting anything.

And you?

I'm observing. It's easy to watch people from up there, most don't notice I'm even in the same space.

Congrats to you, for not following the flock of sheep. Now, which one of you is under that cloak? Hm? I'm just curious.

...you really think I'd tell you who I am? You tried to destroy my home.

[Descole nods.]

Well, I'm not here to ruin anyone elses homes or anything else. If I were you, I would be right not to be trusting. A lot of people aren't who they seem to be.

[Crow watches him warily for a few moments, then looks away.]

What do you mean by that?

I mean there's a lot of malicious people here. I'm trying to determine if you're one of them, because surprisingly, given my infamous history, I am not one of them, nor do I want to be one. I'm just trying to observe.

...not malicious, no. I'd just rather be... this, for the moment.

You claim you're not, either? I find that hard to believe. Why would I believe it from you?

You don't have to, but trust me, you're going to run into some characters, Dear Raven. Be careful who you do trust.

I'm hardly the most trusting person. That isn't really something that I need to be told.

Still, mind your ideals. Just in case.
