[Fredrick pokes his head around the fox, then lets out a cry of approval that catches Anton's attention. He spins around.]

[Clive smirks a bit, bending down long enough to pick Vanki up and hold her against his chest.]

You're certainly flamboyant, aren't you?

That's one word for it, but I much prefer fabulous, if I'm honest.

[Holds out a hand.]

[He chuckles, taking the hand.]

Hershel's descriptions didn't do you justice, though. Maybe I should be jealous of the fact that you got to tie him up.

I'm his husband. Well. Not legally, obviously, but...

He didn't mention he was seeing someone. In fact, I'm almost certain that he wasn't.

Well. Different worlds, most likely. I'm not even the Clive from his world, technically.

Not quite. I went to his world when this place had all the doors, and apparently now there's a version of us who got brought back after a few days, and... well, me. Who got to stay for years before I came back.

And did your husband get brought back too?
