[Things have been... odd for Tyrannus, the past few days. Since Twister used his wish to... make Clive better, for the most part Tyrannus has been avoiding him. And the rest of the DR, for that matter. There are a lot of things that he's needed to get his head around, and it's only now that he's even begun to work around some of the issues in his mind. Twister's wish can only do so much; his attachment to him (to Roulette) is tied up in so much else. Abandonment issues that he's had since his parents died, all the mess of what could have been (and what this place brings back so much because it looks more like his pagoda than Layton's, more like the plans he never put on paper than the building Layton made with what plans there were) and the even worse mess of what was.

It's hardly surprising that he's only just now venturing out again.

[He shuts his eyes, fingers carding through his hair.]

I'm sure that over time, when you've adjusted to the changes, you'll learn what to do with it.
