Well, this is certainly odd.

[Emmy stumbles a little as she appears in the lobby - understandable, really, given that she was stepping out of the Laytonmobile just a moment before. Much as she'd been paying more attention to Layton than her surroundings, she rather doubts that they're parked in a building. After all, they were supposed to be outside Misthallery, and who would put a town inside? Other than, well. Turning on her heel, she discovers that the Laytonmobile isn't even there behind her, anyway, and she promptly wheels around in a full circle to try to get a good look at her surroundings.]

Professor Layton!?

...anyone?

[He walks closer to her, so their faces are inches apart, and he stands his ground.]

My point is, there is something you aren't telling me here. Now if you want to play this game, I'm sure I'll figure it out on my own, but know this: I will find out what you're hiding.

That is, if I haven't already.

[He smirks and waits for a response.]

Ooh, we're on a points system now? How daring.

[He thinks a moment and nods.]

Well, I don't have anything set in stone yet. Personally, but I have noticed you've been asking a lot of questions. Now for Layton's apprentice that's very usual, but they are generally questions one could say are, on all levels relevant. Yours, however are not.

Secondly, you do not stand like the Emmy I knew. Your knees are slightly bent and your shoulders are not back, like she kept her so often. You, seem to stand like a male.

Lastly, that I've noticed, weren't you shorter the last time I saw you? Perhaps an inch or so?

[He snickers.]

Did I miss something, Ms. Altava?

Hmm, isn't this a turn of events.

The Emmy I know, or at least, I think I know, is a woman, and her own woman. You...you are certainly a work of art aren't you?

So, if Emmy Altava is a fabrication, who might you be under that disguise?

[He snickers.]

Oh, I can still rather see us as friends, by the way.

Clive. I've heard of you. You were a boy that did...something with a time machine...I wonder if Emmy Altava is a fabrication in my time too.

So, how many points did I get?

[Descole shakes his head.]

I was only joking. So, Clive, what's your story? Whats your motive to dress as Emmy?

[Descole nods again. Taking the whole situation in he smiles.]

I'll admit it's a good idea.

So tell me, where all your exploits of men true?

[identity profile] sinisterballet.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't remember saying all that? Hm, that's funny.

So they are true then. Tell me, does Professor Layton know anything about these exploits? You also said you two talk about your relationships often when you were threatening to ask about me.

[identity profile] sinisterballet.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh, well I'm glad to know about your exploits with various number of men.

Anyway, just so you know, Layton and I where never involved.

Who says I'm not being perfectly honest back?

Besides, Hershel is of no consequence to me anymore.

[Hm, that wording didn't come out like he'd planned.]

And you're around Layton often. Would you think he'd be the type to run off with a man I think not. Do I even seem like the type to run off with a man.

There. Perfectly honest.

[Descole opens his mouth and then closes it looking down at his clothes. His angered expression lightly fades.]

Touche...though compared to what you're wearing, engarde.

Yeah you're right Hershel is certainly one to indulge in a man.

[Descole gives a stages laugh and then quickly it fades into a frown.]

I've been in theater and performing arts my whole life. It makes sense when you think about it.

Yes, my mother put me in ballet when I was really young, and I was doing professional when I was four. Then in primary school I was recruited to drama productions.

Why am I telling you this? Damn, do I really need to defend my clothing choice that bad?

[Descole finds himself turning a red color as he frowns again.]

No, ballet is an art form. I had to wear a lot of suits actually. It wasn't there to embarrass me.

[Though it would be a lie if he said he wasn't. He told himself he wouldn't tell anyone. Dammit.]
