Well, this is certainly odd.
[Emmy stumbles a little as she appears in the lobby - understandable, really, given that she was stepping out of the Laytonmobile just a moment before. Much as she'd been paying more attention to Layton than her surroundings, she rather doubts that they're parked in a building. After all, they were supposed to be outside Misthallery, and who would put a town inside? Other than, well. Turning on her heel, she discovers that the Laytonmobile isn't even there behind her, anyway, and she promptly wheels around in a full circle to try to get a good look at her surroundings.]
Professor Layton!?

[She allows him to hold her arm, though.]

[Stares into her eyes, still clutching at the arm.]

Is this a wig, 'Emmy'?

[She can't really suppress her grin right now, though.]

...
Forgive my doubts but I find that hard to believe coming from a Clive. As I said, the one from my own world is hardly a friend and the only other Clive I've spoken to whilst being here openly detests me.

I remember. That day, when you... you helped me. You saved me.

...I wish my Clive would remember that.

It's fine, my boy. Though I am curious as to why you chose to dress as my assistant.

Emmy Altava isn't... actually a real person.
[She cringes a little at that 'my boy', too.]

[He's seen plenty of evidence supporting her definitely female attributes.]
