Well, this is certainly odd.
[Emmy stumbles a little as she appears in the lobby - understandable, really, given that she was stepping out of the Laytonmobile just a moment before. Much as she'd been paying more attention to Layton than her surroundings, she rather doubts that they're parked in a building. After all, they were supposed to be outside Misthallery, and who would put a town inside? Other than, well. Turning on her heel, she discovers that the Laytonmobile isn't even there behind her, anyway, and she promptly wheels around in a full circle to try to get a good look at her surroundings.]
Professor Layton!?
...anyone?
Professor Layton!?
...anyone?

Exactly. NOW I know what happened to your lipstick! That's what he uses Ms. Altava for.

That's obscene! God, just because you want to do that sort of thing with him doesn't mean everyone else does, too!
[She's not exactly convincing about it.]

You're never going to see my mouth anywhere near Layton's skin, let alone doing that.
You on the otherhand. Well, I understand now. You're a prop for Layton's boredom.

Layton wouldn't do something like that, and besides I barely met the man!

[He laughed at his own nickname and shook his head.]

Especially not with that pretty face.

You really think that-- that Layton would so much as consider doing that!?

Especially foer a pretty face like you, Mascara.

Will you stop going on about my face? It's unsettling!
no subject
That's what happens when you make fun of my performances and my outfits.

...other than taking the makeup off I guess but that would defeat the point of the disguise.
[That and, uh, she likes it.]

Anyway, I know you love looking pretty don't lie. I can tell.

But I've thought about it, and I think suits and masks suit me best. What do you think?

Not everyone thinks like you, Mascara.

[She trails off, making do with stamping her foot. It might look stupid, but at least it sums up what she's feeling better.]

Yes, I think we'll make good friends.
