Has anyone seen Jeanne? She's not been back to her room in a couple of days.

[And Tyrannus is... slightly concerned. Just slightly. Mainly considering what he thinks she might use wishes on.]

...she's missing?

[Jean doesn't like the sound of that after seeing the post on the board in the lobby.]

Yeah. Well. Maybe she's found herself another room, but...

[He can't really see her having left the safety of Twister's protection, truth be told. Or having left him alone (and Hawk, even moreso).]

I just... haven't heard anything from her. It's not like her.

[He shakes his head.]

That's not like her at all....

[Granted the last time he had seen her, he had sex with her and she freaked out. But that was months ago...and each time he'd tried to console her or make up to her, she wasn't around. But now that others have noticed, especially now that he has noticed.]

...I hope...

[This isn't my fault...]

[Tyrannus tilts his head a little.]

Why would it be your fault?

No, if anything I think it's related to her Layton, given the wishes.

[Though whose wish would be at fault and the actual content of it... well, that could go either way.]

[He shakes his head as Clive gets onto him.]

I didn't say that.

[His expression doesn't change as he speaks about her Layton, but he certainly doesn't like it. With every fiber of his being he hopes nothing awful has happened and she just found a different room.]

[His mouth twists a little at Descole's words, and Tyrannus runs a hand through his hair.]

When you're as suspicious a person as I am, and also in a relationship with Hershel - Twister, that is - an opportunity to know what people are thinking isn't one that gets passed up easily.

But either way. I doubt it's anything to do with... what you're thinking.

[He can be tactful. Sometimes. If he feels like it (which he doesn't tend to).]

If the wishes are to blame, it really depends whose wish it is. If it's Jeanne's... [He pauses, looking distant for a brief moment.] If it's hers, I almost feel sorry for him. My feelings on all the other Laytons notwithstanding.

[Being a Descole, he knows where she is coming from.]

He deserves whatever is coming to him.

[He says this expressionlessly as he clenches his fists a bit. Jean himself has been through his share or abuse and has seen terrible things so he knows what Jeanne acts the way she does. He doesn't blame her.]

[His smirk is back, now, and he watches Descole.]

Perhaps. Still. Anyone can be squeamish, no?

[Tyrannus would... not usually be on that list.]

[There are a number of people he actually truly wishes dead. A lot of then did to him what he did to her.]

Death doesn't bother me.

[He's not sure whether or not he means it, but either way, he doesn't care.]

He deserves it.

[He hums, watching Descole more closely.]

[Not all. His mother didn't, and northern did his brother or sister.]

[Hershel...his Hershel....does he?]

[He leans back a bit stretching out his sides. His legs are stiff and his arms are cramped. This conversation isn't helping him.]

You don't sound convinced.

[His eyes track Descole's movements for a long moment.]

What are you wishing for?

...I don't know yet....

[He looks down ans fiddles with his hands. Truthfully, he's not sure..]

I haven't decided yet.

...well. The first was easy, but the other two... who knows.

[He gives a slight look at him.]

What was the first, dare I ask?

[Maybe it could give him some incentive for his own wishes.]

[He snorts.]

I already told you, more-or-less. I wished to be able to hear everyone's thoughts.

[Descole does NOT like this answer. He has to get away and fast. He doesn't want this creep reading this thoughts.]

[All while panicking. "Sick fuck is going to be able to hear what I'm thinking. I'm internally panicking for my double and now for my own self. I like to keep my secrets, secret. How can I do that now, knowing everyone may know? I could wish to make my thoughts unreadable, but that could possibly end bad..."]

[He arches an eyebrow.]

Calm down. I'm only getting surface thoughts, and for the most part I'm barely listening anyway. It's to use on Hershel, not you.

I feel like such a power wouldn't be easy to switch off when speaking to someone.

[He gives a nod.]
