[Don is going to use the first of his wishes well!]
Great and powerful Dressing Room!
Since you have been so kind as to grant us all our wishes, I want only the most humble of all requests:
I WISH FOR LOTS AND LOTS OF CHICKS!
[Nothing can go wrong with this wish, right?]

We have three wishes. One of mine was for a body like... whatever it was that killed Layton.
[Pausing again, she considers.]
Much more interesting of an experience than I'd have thought, too. Did you know that there are tentacles?
[Not visibly, and she has no clue how to manifest them outside of her body, but there's a definite awareness of the fact that they're there. Even if she's not entirely sure whether they're even on the same plane as the rest of her. Which is another thing that there's a distinct awareness of but no way of changing; the fact that currently, she's operating on several different planes at once.]

...What was it that killed Twister that has a body like that? There's nothing in this place that looks like you do now.
[He hopes. He really, really hopes.]

[Oh, did you want a better answer than that, Don?
Being an asshole kind of comes with the territory of being like Peacock. And being effectively reset to canon timeline personality thanks to her first wish, for that matter.]

That's nasty.

...We're living in a giant tentacle monster?
[This is not a comforting thought.]
no subject
That's... very oversimplified. It's much more than that.
And this is only part of what it's like, I rather believe.

So do we live in you, too?
[DON ASKS THE MOST AWKWARD OF QUESTIONS.]

[She's... not entirely certain how she knows this. Nonetheless, she does.]

[DON WOULD LIKE PROOF.]

Why is there only one of me and yet there's a million Laytons?

[She flicks her tongue out, attention drifting from him momentarily as a clawed hand shoots out to grab a chick that managed to get into the air.]

I mean, I don't mind being rid of them, but I'd rather you didn't do it right in front of me.
no subject
She'll just be. Putting that whole chick in her mouth right in front of him.
Hey, if she can digest it all (which she can) why shouldn't she?]no subject
[Well, that's Don frozen in fear and not eating lunch again for a while.]
no subject
Once she's swallowed, though, she flicks her tongue out again to pull a stray feather into her mouth.]
Is something the matter, Don?

[Scooting to the side.]

I mean, I'm certainly not the one who wished for them. My wishes are already all gone.

Is it really so awful? Eating is natural, and whatever it is that I am... this is how it eats.
