If it works, why not? She might as well take advantage of it the best she can, she reasons. She's not exactly happy about what she suspects this is going to entail - she knows mistletoe when she sees it - so she's trying to calm herself down about the whole thing along with waiting for someone to come along to help her out.]

My tastes are many and varied, Luke. And I guess it makes sense for that thing to provide a selection anyway, since I'm not always the only one drinking it.

[There is, yep! Descole sits herself side-on in her chair, so that she can lounge against the arm.]

Mmm... well, that's a good thing, right? I mean, it means more people to talk to, so...

[She pauses, taking a swig of her drink.] Well, I don't know. Personally, I'd prefer the place to stay empty, but I know that others enjoy varied company more than I do.

I don't mind the company. It's quite refreshing to see some familiar faces here, but it really depends on the other people here.

[Taking a sip of his own drink.]

Mmm... well, in my case most company is unwelcome. I guess... you can pretty much sum up whose company I'd actually enjoy with the people who I've invited to live up here with me, you know?

So I guess that leaves the count at you and double.

[Finishing off the rest of her drink, Descole leans forward to get another one.]

[She reaches up to pull off her hat and drop it on the floor, then runs a hand through her hair.]

You know, I'm not sure why I even bother with this whole ensemble any more. Habit, I guess, and the scars.

I don't know. Sometimes it just seems like a bit much... I mean, Layton certainly knows what I look like now, so what's the use of it?

My eye is the least of it. I suppose that... at least with all of this, it's my decision whether people see how weak I am now.
