[Like a few of the other residents, Claire has discovered Monocle's body lying in the lobby. In response to this, she has decided to investigate the corpse for any clues as to what might have happened to it.]

What could possibly have made injuries like this...?

Well I can't let a lady do this on her own.

[She moves aside, allowing Luke to see some deep gashes in Monocle's chest that were previously covered by a large quantity of blood.]

[Luke gladly looks over,feeling a little descted from the site.]

They look like knife wounds, but I can't be to sure.

That's what I thought at first as well. But it would be hard for someone to wield multiple knives so close to each other with that kind of accuracy. My next thought was that they could be claws of some sort, but I've never seen a creature here that even has claws...

Mmm, well that I'm not sure about.

Are you sure that the gashes where all done at once?

Looking at how deep the middle one is compared with the slightly shallower depth of the outer cuts, I'd assume that they were.

Mmm all the claws would all be the same depth of any animal that I can think of.

But we shouldn't limit this to animals from our world, considering the nature of this place. That's assuming it's an animal at all. The only animal I've really seen around here recently is the peacock belonging to Mr. Herzen. And that certainly doesn't have claws.

There is that. the only thing that I can name that had a claw longer then its others was a dinosaur, The Colossal rapper. but had it be one of them, unless it was vegetation, the body would definitely be more of a mess.

Yes, I can't imagine that a creature killing him for food, especially one that we can presume is quite some size, would just leave the body lying around.

Which begs the question of why said creature would kill him, if not for food.

They are. I've checked the body over as best I can, but so far have found nothing else. One way or another, the Prime Minister was stabbed through the heart.

Then this was most likely no animal, but someone that is stilled at using a knife and how to make it look like something else.

Well, there's no shortage of people here. Especially people who'd have motives to kill him...

True, best thing to do if find out his last moments.

I suppose we could ask around, to try to determine who spoke with him or was seen with him last.

Soulds like a plan.

We should probably split up, as we could ask more people that way.
