[Drinking alone has started to pass from just "depressing" into "unhealthy", so Descole's enforced a ban on herself and the mini-fridge has obliged by removing all of the alcohol. Of course, after making the decision she promptly changed her mind, and now she doesn't have anything to drink despite wanting one.

So she's trying to take her mind off things by cleaning, instead, and she's found a room with just enough minuscule bits of dirt to occupy her. It's kind of pointless, given that the place cleans itself perfectly well without any input, but it's something that she can do without dropping her guard too much, and that makes it top of a very small list of things that can pass as leisure activities for her at this point. Anyone passing by is welcome to interrupt her - talking is probably a healthier pastime than trying to scrub holes in the floor, anyway.]

I'm sure you will get better. I hope you do at least. For a while I was like that too. I dunno.

Well... you're definitely the best thing to me. Even if other people don't agree, and you don't agree, I think that you're the most wonderful thing here. I honestly mean that.

I suppose that makes sense. You're the only one I'm really compassionate too. Hell, I'm even kind of mean to my...my boyfriend if you'd call him that.

Well, you're about the only person whose company I can stand even when I'm being forced to be sober. I mean, I'm... god, I'll probably end up being horrible to you at some point because I'm just so bad at dealing with this, but... I like you a lot, too.

Ehh, I'm the same. Well. I tend to get sarcastic, you know? It's a defensive thing for me. But sometimes it can come out of nowhere, because it's not always the person I'm talking to who's actually put me on edge so that I get like that.

[She shrugs a little.] Same to you, though, yeah. If you insult me like that then I won't take it personally.

Good, glad to know our sardonic and sarcastic personalities wont harmfully effect the other.

Well, then again we are both Jean Descole. So, I suppose that makes sense.

[She laughs, sipping at her water.]

Of course. Sardonic, sarcastic, narcissistic... we're brilliant, aren't we double?

Well its a good thing we're both stuck here. Perhaps, if I'm able to leave, somehow you could come with me. Yes, physics would suggest I could.

[Descole snorts a little.]

Well, you say they'll like me. I don't know. I think this place has clouded your judgement.

My brother, oh lord, he'd have a time with this. He'd love it. It would be good for you to meet Hershel. He's...well, we're not on the best terms, but you two might get along.

Well... I guess if I had you there, then I might be able to cope with it better. I don't know. Maybe it'd help to have a version of him who I could actually speak to, so that might be good.

I think it will help. I think it'll be good for me too. Possibly we'd bw on better terms.

It's just a shame that this place will probably take the fact that we've made plans for if we go home, and use it as an excuse to never let us leave.
