Mmhmm. Well, I assume it's your one. I don't know. He's talked about you, though, and I've never met you, so you're probably from the same world.

[She tilts her head a little to get a better look at him through her good eye.]

[He nods again.]

How long has he been here? I mean, I haven't seen him all morning, but that's about it. I've been playing football seriously all morning, but he was there...I mean, I saw him early in the day.

Oh and, it's good to meet you, other Jean.

Ahh... a week, maybe? I'm not sure, exactly, but definitely longer than a morning...

[She shrugs.]

This place, I guess. And... yeah. It's nice to meet you, too.

...but, well... Descole, please.

Then Descole, it's nice to meet you.

[He smiles and looks around again.]

Then what is this place? I'm confused...

Ah... nobody knows, really. Some sort of interdimensional thing. Pulls us in and nobody has found a way out yet.

...double will be glad that you're here. He was hoping that you might turn up, you know.

...so I'm stuck here? Well, at least this lobby is big enough, I hope that there are others here who are willing to play football with me.

[He laughs at his joke and shakes his head.]

Well, Descole...you're...I don't mean to sound offensive or anything but...you're a woman. The Descole I know is a man...

Double is a man, yes. Either that or a flat-chested, manly-sounding woman.

[She snorts a little and lifts her hand to bite at her thumb nail.]

Though, everybody seems to know me as a man. I'm starting to feel like the odd one out.

[He shakes his head, after laughing at her joke.]

Oh no, no, you make a good Descole, even as a woman. Possibly better than one from a man. Don't tell my Jean I said that.

[Again, he laughs, his laugh is quiet and reserved as he looks at the floor. He's obviously a little confused and worried about where he is, and of course, Jean. He licks his lips lightly.]

[She laughs a little.]

No, really, he's the better of us.

...would you like to come see if we can find him?

[He shrugs.]

Sure, I guess.

[He drops the soccor ball to the floor and begins lightly kicking it, following her lead.]

You think he's better? Why's that?

He just... he's better. He copes with everything better than I do, and he's helped me so much already.

[She shakes her head a little bit.]

Well, either way. He's been staying with me, so we can check my rooms.

That...that sounds like him. He may play the role of the villain but he's so empathetic. He's strange that way.

[He follows her wherever he takes him.]

Sometimes he worries me about how empathetic he is. He doesn't ever take care of himself. Or when he does, he's worried about his things, like his contraptions and his work in general, but he doesn't take care of himself. Are you like that too?

Mmm... I don't know. I'm bad at looking after myself, but I'm no better at looking after anybody else, either.

[She leads him up to the fifteenth floor, stepping through the barriers she's set up and knocking on Descole's door once she reaches it.]

Double? Are you in>

[He nods at her suggestion of herself and laughs.]

Well that's okay.

[He follows her into the room, but no one responds. There is, however, the sound of water running.]

Is the shower on? Because he might be in there. He takes long showers. Don't ask me how I know that.

Ahh... I know that, too. He told me.

[She shrugs a little, moving to knock on the bathroom door instead.]

Double? Double, I have something to show you.

[Bradley laughs at her choice of words.]

I'm a something?

[Descole, from the shower, laughs incredulously.]

[Descole shrugs, glancing back at him and then turning a little further so she can actually see him.]

Well. You're a surprise, a surprise is a something... so more or less.

Double, are you coming or not?

Descole: There's nothing you can have to show me that's so important that will make me want to interrupt my shower!

[Bradley shrugs.]

Typical.

[Descole sighs, moving closer to the door.]

Don't make me come in there, double. There's someone here to see you, now get out of the shower. I'll make it up to you.

[ooc: It's cool! XD]

[Descole sighs and the water turns off. Obviously, he was giving in. Bradley laughs again.]

How, how typical. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is my Jean.

[From in the shower, Descole calls;] Who's out there?

It's Bradley.

...so, I can go. If you'd like.

[From inside the shower, Descole laughs;] You're honstly joking.

[Bradley shook his head.]

Yeah, no, she's joking, I'm actually just a civilian.

[Descole finally walks out in pants, a t-shirt, and a mask. His wet hair being dried by the towel in his hand. He smiles genuinely at Bradley;] You're ridiculous. How did you get here?

[Bradley shrugs.]

I dunno. That's a good question.

[Descole moves to sit on the bed, hugging her knees to her chest and watching them. Much as she's still there, she doesn't want to intrude. She doesn't really know what to actually do anyway, and she hates that she's kind of jealous at seeing someone else get her double's attention.]

[Descole and Bradley try to make out how either of them got there and Descole introduced him and his double. Bradley waved to her.]

Good to re-meet you. I'm glad you've been keeping him safe.

Mmm... I'd say it's more the other way around, than anything.

[She glances between them for a moment, chewing her lip. She shakes her head after a moment, dropping her head so hide where she's just bitten enough to draw blood.]

I... I-I'll leave you two alone, anyway.
