[Claire has been working on her investigation into Twister's murder. She's complied a list of notes about what she has discovered so far. It reads as follows:

- After being cleaned up, the body was found to have several gash marks on it's chest. Some kind of animal?
- Luke seems to think that it might have been a person trying to convince us it was an animal by fabricating the extent of the wounds.
- Regardless, he definitely died by being stabbed through the heart.
- Ms. Layton has laid a claim to taking over as Prime Minister soon after the death. She is a suspect.
~~- Talking to Clive has shown that Prime Minister Twister killed him before all this happened.~~ This isn't relevant to the case? Unless it pins Clive as a suspect.
- Don Paolo claims to be the last person to have seen Twister before he died. He says he witnessed him talking to a Clive he was unfamiliar with in the lobby.
- Talk to the Clives to find out if any of them were with Twister on the day of the murder?
- Don't bother with that one annoying Clive until it becomes unavoidable.

She's frowning. Talking to all of the Clives would take ages... Feel free to give her some advice, whether you fall into the Clive category or not.]

Oh, sure if you need me too. Um..it will take a while to confirm anything however. I hate to say.

[He smiles anyway.]

I spouse that means we'll have to spend some time together, hm?

Well, there's no rush for results, since the Prime Minister's body isn't going anywhere...

And, yes. We definitely need to spend more time together. I never imagined that a good old fashioned murder mystery would bring us together, but there you go.

[She's still smiling~]

Shall we go fetch the tools then?

I suppose so. You wouldn't happen to gave any dark colored eyeshadow would you?

[He's still falling victim to the smile. What a sweetie~]

Well, I try not to pride myself on being someone who wears a lot of make-up, but as a matter of fact, I do.

We can just pop back to my room and pick it up.

I have noticed. You are beautiful without it. Which is why I asked.

[He smiles just the slightest and nods at her suggestion.]

I'll follow you. This place is so big, I forget where every room is.

[Laughs a little.]

I never knew you were such a flatterer.

[She begins to walk in the direction of her room, looking back to see if he's following.]

Am I? I didn't realize I was. I thought I was just stating a fact.

[He has a smirk on his face and his hands behind his back as he follows.]

I'll bet you were.

[She laughs again.]

Luckily my room isn't that far from here. Then we just need to make it to the lobby.

I was not! I swear it!

[He snickers a bit and follows her to the Lobby, he sort of walks himself next to her, rather than completely behind her. This is not on purpose but he doesn't mind it...and he's really tempted to take he hand.]

[She's swinging her hand around, good luck there. :3]

So what have you been up to lately?

[Which is precisely why he decided against it. She's too cute.]

Um, not much, really.

Before this? Not very much either. Everything just seems to stop whatever progress I make on the time machine, which is a pity.

It seems to stop? Like literally just stop working?

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

(Maybe that's why I've been going through depressive cycles? Halting me from working. Interesting.)

Well I'm sorry...

It's more like whenever I make some progress something happens to hinder me or set me back to square one.

I'm really starting to believe that this place could either have some consciousness of it's own or that it's controlled by an outside force that influences what we do.

[She grips his hand slightly, as if this troubles her.]

[Noticing that she's held his hand he jumps a little, but then starts caressing it with his thumb lightly, to calm her down.]

I believe that too. I think...there's someone out there. Or if not, this place is conscious on it's own. Did you ever read the book "Rose Red" by Stephan King? I think it's like that.

But I think...there's a reason behind everything. Todo va bien, mi amour...

You're quite the logical thinker. I've always liked that about you.

Perhaps you're right, too. But who knows when, if ever, we'll find out more about this place.

[They've reached Claire's room now, so she stops and lets go of Dimitri's hand to unlock the door.]

You and I both know one has to be an irrational sort of logical thinker to be a scientist.

I think we'll find out eventually...I'm sure we will.

[He let's her drop his hand and walks into the room with her. This is technically the first time he's been in a woman's bedroom for years. It was strange thinking about it. And a little pathetic.]

[Claire is already searching through a drawer.]

Here we are!

[She pulls out the eyeshadow.]

Now, just to head to the scene of the crime, I suppose.

I suppose that's our next stop.

(Or we can stay here and you can let me kiss you.)

[He mentally scolded himself for that thought and smiled to her, waiting for her initiative to leave.]

[She pauses for a moment, then shakes her head.]

Let's... let's go then.

You okay? You looked as if you were thinking a moment?

[He hopes nothing is wrong, because the last thing he needs is him doing something to upset her.]

Heh. I was just thinking that it was a little odd that this is the first time I've brought you back here.

[Dimitri turns a little pink at the idea of her thoughts and nods.]

It's funny I was thinking the same thing, since you've been in my room before. Yours looks a lot more...put together than mine.

(Well, I've been a little too sloth to even lift a hand to clean, but okay...)

I like to have everything where I can remember where it is. Your room is the creative mess of a true genius and I like that.

Honestly, I think the reason I've never brought you here before is because it's a bit boring. There's much more to do at the lab.

[He gives a small laugh at her reasoning and shakes his head.]

Oh, well, I don't mind being here or not. I originally didn't want you to see my room, because I thought you would be appalled by all the paper and the cups of coffee everywhere.

Your room is just fine the way it is.
